WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF AURICULAR ACUPUNCTURE?

DOES IT HURT AND WHAT ARE THE NEEDLES LIKE?
No, the needles do not hurt. In fact, most people barely feel anything when needles are inserted. Some people feel a slight pinch, and others ask “Is it in yet?” Acupuncture needles are solid, flexible, and very, very thin (about the width of two hairs). All needles used are sterile, single use needles that come pre sealed. They are much thinner and smaller than needles used in hospitals and at the doctors. All needles are only used once and discarded In a sharps container as medical waste.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST SESSION?
At your first appointment I will carry out a full consultation. I will ask you to fill out a form which shouldn’t take more than ten minutes and following that we will have a discussion about your treatment goals and wishes. Next, I will insert the appropriate needles and then all you need to do is lie and relax and listen to beautiful music. The needles will stay in your ears for 30-45minutes.
Please allow an hour for your appointment though to allow adequate time to go over your consultation/ any changes and to insert the needles.
